งานประกาศผลรางวัล DICE Awards 2022 จัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 24 กุมภาพันธ์ โดยมีการเสนอชื่อผู้เข้าชิงรางวัลมาตั้งแต่เดือนที่แล้ว ซึ่งมีรายชื่อของเกมต่างๆมากกว่า 59 เกมในหลากหลายหมวดหมู่ และตอนนี้เราก็ได้รายชื่อของผู้ชนะในสาขาต่างๆแล้ว
ไฮไลท์ในค่ำคืนของงานเป็นการประกาศรางวัลเกมยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปี โดยเป็นผู้งานจากผู้พัฒนา Hazelight ที่ทำให้ It Takes Two ได้รับรางวัลเกมยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปี ท่ามกลางรายชื่อเกมที่ถูกเสนอเข้าแข่งขันอย่าง Deathloop, Ratchet และ Clank: A Rift Apart, Inscryption และ Returnal ไปได้
สำหรับรายการอื่นๆ ได้แก่ Halo Infinite จาก 343 Industry คว้าไปสองรางวัล คือเกมแอ็คชั่นแห่งปีและเกมออนไลน์แห่งปี ร่วมกับ Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart จาก Insomniac Games ที่คว้าไปได้ถึง 4 รางวัล ได้แก่เกมที่มีความโดดเด่นทางด้านแอนิเมชั่น, ด้านศิลปะกำกับ, ด้านเทคนิค และเกมครอบครัวยอดเยี่ยมแห่งปี
